U.S. researches recommend health providers at colleges get a fix on students who have experienced increased mental health symptoms and substance use in light of somewhat higher alcohol and cannabis use during COVID-19.

Noting that college students have experienced significant disruptions because of the pandemic, investigators from five states sought to determine whether or not those students face an elevated risk for COVID-related mental health symptoms.
