Gang of fugitive pigs inadvertently lead Memphis police to pot patch

Police in Memphis, Tenn. say they found illicit cannabis plants sprouting outdoors on a local property, and that discovery is all thanks to some escaped pigs.

According to Fox 15 Memphis, the officers were dispatched to a property this week after being contacted by an animal control officer. That officer had earlier received a call about a group of five wayward pigs wandering around and making themselves at home at the property in question.

While trying to corral the porcine fugitives, the animal control officer stumbled upon a small patch of seven cannabis plants growing on the property. In response, she called 911 to report
