NFL stars Julio Jones and Roddy White defendants in cannabis lawsuit for alleged fraud, money laundering: Report

Julio Jones and Roddy White are among the defendants named in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court by California-based cannabis business Genetixs. Larry Brown Sports was the first outlet to report the lawsuit.

Jones, who is under contract with the Tennesse Titans, White, who retired from the NFL in 2017, White’s company SLW Holdings, and father and son John and Shaun Van Beek, are being sued for, among other things, conspiracy to defraud, breach of fiduciary duty and unjust enrichment, according to The Tennessean.

Jones and White were teammates on the Atlanta Falcons for four seasons and had invested in Genetixs through SLW Holdings, according to court documents.
