Two soldiers in Trinidad and Tobago were recently arrested for attempting to smuggle contraband, including cannabis, into a maximum-security prison, reports WIC News.
Following interviews with police, one of the soldiers has been released while the other remains in custody.
Police allege the two soldiers were assigned to distribute food items to soldiers who are currently incarcerated at Golden Grove Maximum Security Prison. But when prison officials searched the items, they found more than food.
