A British man is in prison in Dubai after authorities found CBD oil and a vape pen inside his car.

Billy Hood, 24, is a soccer coach and former semi-pro player who recently moved to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for work. Despite text messages from a friend revealing that he is the one who accidentally left the CBD products behind, Hood has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
According to the Daily Mail, Hood was handed the sentence after signing a confession, which was written in Arabic, after enduring days of abuse from prison officials.
