A U.K. man who was sentenced last year to a decade in prison for dealing cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy and ketamine has been directed to pay more than £81,000 ($139,320) in criminal gains.
As the leader of a gang, Nicholas Glynn was said to be intent on flooding the streets of Harlow, U.K., with the drugs, notes a statement from the Essex Police.
Glynn was taken down after the police seized almost five kilograms of cocaine worth £209,000 ($359,480), 0.5 kg of cannabis worth £3,000 ($5,160) and 400 ecstasy tablets worth £8,000 ($13,760). An additional £40,000 ($68,800) in cash was confiscated during the execution of nine warrants, the police added.
Last year, Glynn was found guilty of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, which includes cocaine and ecstasy, and two counts of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs, which includes marijuana.
