A new study published in Frontiers in Psychiatry has found that cannabis use may reduce anxiety and depressive symptoms in clinically anxious and depressed populations.

Study participants (368 cannabis users and 170 controls) used an online survey to track anxiety and depressive symptoms, cannabis product use, sleep, quality of life and comorbid chronic pain at baseline and in additional surveys conducted in three-month intervals over a four-year period.
