Weed a big part of why Chris Tucker extinguished any thoughts of ‘Friday’ sequels

Once was certainly enough for Chris Tucker, star of the 1995 stoner classic, Friday, who recently revealed he opted out of the sequels because the weed-driven storylines clashed with his moral compass.

“I said, ‘I don’t want to represent everyone smoking weed,’” Tucker said, per New York Post. “I kinda made it more personal than a movie, and that’s one of the reasons I said, ‘Nah, I don’t want to keep doing that character,’” the 50-year-old actor and comedian said during the podcast, Flix Talk.
