Actors Pete Davidson and Blake Anderson provided a fitting tribute to the new animated series, The Freak Brothers, during a red carpet event earlier this week.
The well-known weed lovers smoked a joint to celebrate the premiere of the stoner-inspired series, reports The Daily Mail.
The show, which has roots that trace back to the 1960s, features Davidson, Woody Harrelson, Tiffany Haddish and John Goodman as voice actors for the three Freaks and the cat.
The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, a fictional trio of stoner characters, first appeared in The Rag , an underground newspaper published in Texas in 1968.
The adventures of the trio, mainly seeking out and enjoying recreational drugs, were quickly picked up by other underground publications around the world and the comic developed a cult following.
