Stress, not fun, cited as a major reason to consume more cannabis over the holidays

Almost seven in 10 surveyed cannabis consumers in the U.S. expect to turn to weed this holiday season to boost cheer and tamp down the stress that regularly accompanies the season.

CBD Oracle, a cannabis consumer research company, wanted to find out exactly how the coming season would influence marijuana users’ consumption. Gathering input from 1,925 U.S. adults who had consumed cannabis at least once before, the company learned that 68.7 per cent of respondents expect to “use more over the holiday period, largely to help manage holiday stress.” The poll conducted through Pollfish involved respondents 21 and older.
