For his part, Snoop has invested in a seemingly endless number of cannabis startups and projects, including launching his own weed brand, Leafs by Snoop, in 2015. He has also lent his name to everything from phone cases to slippers, and endorses major brands like Corona, Beyond Meat and Bic lighters.
Last month, three people shelled out more than a million dollars to build digital homes next to Snoop Dogg’s in the Ethereum-based game Sandbox, which Snoop characterized as a “bargain” deal.
Not everything Snoop envisions makes it to the market, however. Billboard reports that in 2011, Snoop filed a trademark for a brand of ice cream dubbed Snoop Scoops.
