A spate of robberies at cannabis dispensaries in Washington State has led to renewed discussion about federal banking laws.

Aaron Pickus, a spokesperson for the Washington CannaBusiness Association told The News Tribune that about 90 per cent of transactions at dispensaries are done in cash due to most banks refusing to service the industry and it has created a safety issue.
