Canadian cannabis totalled just over $336 million in the shortest month of the year.
According to the latest figures from Statistics Canada, nearly every province, other than Ontario and Saskatchewan, saw a modest reduction in sales.
In January, nationwide sales amounted to $346 million.
Ontario led the country with $142 million in sales, nearly a 4.4 per cent increase from January, while Saskatchewan saw a less dramatic increase at 1.5 per cent.
Year over year, there was a 28.5 per cent increase in total cannabis sales nationwide.
Alberta trailed Ontario with $58 million in sales, followed by B.C. at $46 million and Quebec with just under $42 million.
The most precipitous drop occurred in Newfoundland and Labrador, where sales fell by nearly 16 per cent month over month, to $4.7 million in February.
