Tory Lanez was detained after authorities at a Las Vegas airport discovered the musician’s stash.
According to TMZ, the rapper, whose real name is Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson, was stopped Sunday morning while trying to board a flight. That’s when what is being called a “large” amount of weed was found and he was grounded.
Although delayed for a short time, the rapper was then released sans stash.
The incident, however, seems not to have brought Lanez down. In an Instagram post later Sunday, TMZ reports can be seen giving a performance at Drai’s nightclub.
The appearance, reports HipHopDX, was part of the NFL Draft Weekend celebrations. “Vegas ill be in the f—ing city tonight!!!!!!” he wrote on his Instagram.
The brush with this law this time around was far less serious than another one Lanez had a few years back.
