Report of dog bite leads to discovery of cannabis grow

A U.K. man has been jailed for three years and three months after a report of a dog bite led to the discovery of cannabis, amphetamine and MDMA.

Inside the apartment, police found a small cannabis grow consisting of six plants, hidden behind a false wall.

The man later pleaded guilty to producing cannabis as well as possessing with intent to supply cannabis flowering head, cannabis resin, amphetamine and MDMA.

While searching the apartment, it is alleged the man flushed another substance down the toilet. Inside the home, officers recovered scales and several mobile phones as well as a “dealer’s list.”

The man’s lawyer argued that he had recently returned to the U.K. after living in the U.S. and because he had no job he couldn’t find accommodation and because he had no accommodation he couldn’t find a job.
