Four men have been arrested, including one Canadian, in a scheme to import 158 kilograms of cannabis into Michigan.
The Canadian man, 23, was behind the wheel as he drove a semi-truck across the Blue Water Bridge into Michigan around 2:30 a.m., reports ClickOnDetroit.
The Canadian man was arrested at the scene, as was a 27-year-old Detroit man who was driving the van.
While police were still completing the arrests, a second van arrived at the location and that driver was also arrested.
Three of the men were charged with delivering ecstasy, delivering more than 45 kilograms of marijuana, and maintaining a drug house, while the fourth man is charged with conspiracy to commit controlled substance delivery, conspiracy to commit controlled substance delivery of marijuana over 45 kilograms, maintaining a drug house, and felony firearm.
