Before Galloway testified, his wife Katie Wagner completed her testimony from, which started on Monday. Her emotional tenor was dialed back, compared to the day before. While Wagner didn’t sob, her voice quivered several times as she spoke of her husband’s suicidality, hospitalization, and personality changes after being publicly accused of rape. One Christmas, she testified, Galloway, who wanted to try to be there for his family and children, spent time “lying on the floor with a blanket around him.” She explained that her husband “was in the room but he wasn’t capable of being present with us.”
