Canadian survey: Anxiety or stress top reason that Canadian veterans report they are turning to medical cannabis

An ongoing survey exploring how Canadian veterans use medical marijuana has revealed the most common mode of administration is cannabis oils and that stress/anxiety is the top reason for veterans seeking relief.

To date, 192 people — 65 per cent of them veterans and 27 per cent of them women — have provided their input, reports the McGill Comprehensive Health Improvement Program (CHIP).

As part of the anonymous, online survey, that input clearly shows participants are experiencing a range of mental and health issues. Additionally, many individuals are suffering from more than one condition, CHIP reports.
