Cannabis electricity cost calculator

Cannabis electricity calculator will help fast and easy count your power consumption cost during the period of your indoor cultivation. On average, to grow one pound of cannabis, you will need around 3000 kWh. This number depends on how big is your grow room, and the growing supplies used.

  1. Find out your cost per kilowatt-hour. Fill this number in the field top left of the calculator.
  2. Find out the wattage of your growing equipment (lights, extractors, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, fans, and etc.). You can find the wattage information before buying any item in the description. For example, LED light uses 800W. This means it consumes 0.8 kWh (800/1000=0.8).
  3. Count how many hours and how many days every appliance will be used during all growth stages. For example, in the vegetative stage, lights are usually “ON” for 18 hours per day and “OFF” for 6 hours. If you keep your plants in this stage for five weeks, so it lasts for 35 days. Use the same steps for all devices in all growing stages.
