Researchers exploring whether or not greater cannabis availability could mean more marijuana poisoning cases in animals found that donkeys fed weed buds became ill and advised against doing so.

Everyone has heard about dogs becoming ill after sniffing out stray roaches or discarded cannabis edibles while on walks with their owners. Indeed, Australian researchers found last year that human feces is another unappetizing, except for dogs, source of exposure that could ultimately lead to marijuana toxicosis.
