Commenters slap down sheriff’s cheeky post about $2.5 million cannabis find in Florida

There was no turning the cheek for a number of people commenting on a Brevard County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) Facebook post announcing that whoever had lost US$2 million ($2.5 million) in illegal weed could drop by and pick it up.

“If you happened to have lost or misplaced approximately 770 pounds of high-grade marijuana and would like to have your property returned, please contact our Narcotics Agents and we will be more than happy to reunite you with your lost property!!” reads the post from BCSO Sheriff Wayne Ivey.

The post features a room full of what appears to be packaged dried flower.
