Connecticut adult-use cannabis sales rise as prices continue to fall

Although the price per gram of cannabis continued to drop in Connecticut, the state’s retailers sold $17.6 million worth of adult-use products in November.

That’s the second-best month since the state began recreational marijuana sales in January 2023, Connecticut Inside Investigator reported.

A record $18 million worth of adult-use products were sold this past August, according to Inside Investigator, citing data from Connecticut’s Department of Consumer Protection (DCP).

Recreational marijuana sales then fell in September to $16.6 million.

The price per gram of both recreational and medical cannabis dropped to $10.86 in November.

Recreational and medical marijuana prices have been declining in Connecticut since they reached $12.16 per gram in July, having peaked at $12.51 per gram in March, Hartford-based Inside Investigator
