Conservative MP Larry Brock to resign next month, triggering eighth federal byelection

During his time as an MP, he was critical of the Liberals’ justice policies, particularly around bail and sentencing reforms, and told The Brantford Expositor he was “very disappointed” that suggested changes weren’t included in Bill C-14, the Bail and Sentencing Reform Act, and Bill C-16, the Protecting Victims Act, calling them “flawed pieces of legislation.”
