Although the Flint Children’s Museum in Michigan needs a new home, city councillors are trying to determine if buying property next to a pot shop is appropriate.

According to WNEM, the museum is considering several locations in which to set up shop, including by the Old Flint Farmer’s Market.
Some city councillors have bristled at the spot being an option given its proximity to a legal pot shop. “A lot of it had to do with what the marijuana dispensary looked like,” Flint city council president Eric Mays reportedly said, commenting on the nature of the debate.
