Drake, the multi-Grammy-winning rapper known for his love of “The 6ix,” opted to go west a bit, young man, when opening his first Canadian weed store.
Brampton, about 45 kilometres from Toronto, proved the winning location for the first Bullrider Cannabis store.
“At the heart of Bullrider is the convergence of street art, hip-hop and limited premium cannabis product offering,” notes the website of the Toronto-based company. That includes merchandise, retail and premium cannabis products.
Last month, Drake, born Aubrey Drake Graham, joined OVO co-founder and producer, Noah “40” Shebib as an investor, partner and strategic advisor. As part of Bullrider, a subsidiary of Robes Inc., he became a co-owner alongside industry veterans 40, Maxim Zavet and Lorne Greenberg.
