Drugs found after police probe reveals an ‘arsenal of weapons’ that included a hockey stick and homemade stun gun

Drugs were found in two vehicles after West Midlands Police (WMP) officers called to a residential break-in were led on an early-morning chase.

The police responded to a home in Erdington during the early morning of Dec. 22 to learn that three people had burst into the home armed with knives but took off after the homeowner confronted them with a scream.

Backing away to the door — police believe they had broken into the wrong house — the men then made off in a white van, which had false plates, notes a statement from WMP.

Traffic officers later spotted the van and false plates.
