A hearing in the case of the Metropolitan Police commander accused of taking drugs has been delayed.

Julian Bennett, who wrote the service’s current drug strategy, has been suspended with full pay since July 2021, reports Sky News.
Bennett is accused of taking cannabis, LSD and magic mushrooms while on vacation in France and faces a possible dismissal for gross misconduct pending the investigation by the Metropolitan Police’s directorate of professional standards.
