A cafeteria worker at a high school in Louisiana is accused of selling edibles to students and Twitter wants to know who snitched.
“I want to commend this student who saw something and used the P3 app to bring this threat to the attention of our school officials and law enforcement,” said Tangipahoa Parish School Superintendent Melissa Stilley.
According to Stilley, the 45-year-old was a temporary worker, hired by a staffing service used to place substitute employees in schools.
While the investigation is ongoing, the worker was removed from campus by law enforcement. Stilley did not offer any additional information on the case.
Only medical cannabis is legal in Louisiana, though possession of up to 14 grams is a misdemeanour with a fine of US$100 ($134) and no possibility of jail time.
