An 18-year-old student at Palm Beach Lakes High School now faces weapons charges but has avoided drug counts, after she was found with both Tasers and cannabis edibles.

According to Boca News Now, Laniya Royal, who was allegedly found with the items inside a book bag last week, could face at least one count of possession of weapon/destructive device on school property in connection with bringing two Tasers to school.
The bag was reportedly searched after a school official noticed a weed smell emanating from the bag. One of the Tasers was said to look like an iPhone, the publication reported after reviewing a police arrest
