Reps. Morgan Griffith (R-VA) and Angie Craig (D-MN) filed new bills in Congress to provide a pathway for the regulation of hemp derivatives like CBD as dietary supplements and food and beverage additives.

Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly (D) is encouraging people in the state to pressure their lawmakers to advance a medical cannabis bill after a Senate committee decided to stall action on the measure for the session.

A Wisconsin Legislative Fiscal Bureau analysis prepared for the Senate minority leader shows that state residents bought $121 million worth of legal marijuana in neighboring Illinois in 2022, contributing about $36 million in tax revenue to the state.
