Marijuana lounges could soon open in Nevada

Cannabis lounges could open in Nevada as soon as 2022. These locations would allow adults over to openly use marijuana products in a social setting.

Marijuana lounges were legalized last year when lawmakers approved a bill and created two possible licences.

There’s one for “retail cannabis consumption lounges,” where products can be purchased and consumed, and another for “independent cannabis consumption lounges,” which sells single-serving and ready-to-consume products.

Nevada appears to be the state leading the charge in terms of cannabis lounges, creating environments that are similar to those of bars.

Instead of having people bring their cannabis to a space where it can be consumed, these lounges serve as a place to purchase and consume.

The law would allow expanding the idea of cannabis lounges, opening the door to more businesses selling weed.
