State data shows that Michigan broke a marijuana sales record in April, with $195 million in cannabis purchases. In addition, the state saw about $168 million in recreational marijuana sales and $27 million for medical cannabis.
Compared to April 2021: Medical marijuana sales were down 44% (from $48M to $27M), while Adult-use marijuana sales were up 60% (from $105M to $168M).
