A pair of new polls show that cannabis legalization enjoys majority, bipartisan support – with most Americans also saying they’d be more likely to support politicians that back reform.
The market research firm SSRS found that 69% of Americans back adult-use legalization, while 92% back legalizing cannabis for medical use.
Concerning adult-use legalization, 78% of Democrats, 74% of independents, and 54% of Republicans said they favor the policy change.
