A New York man granted a conditional cannabis licence to open a retail weed store in the state is accused of posting revenge porn in an ongoing lawsuit.
Earlier this month, the New York Post reported the man, 47, met a 22-year-old woman on the BDSM social network FetLife last year, and the man later posted three sexual images of her to his account without her consent. The man claims he “never ever posted anything without anybody’s consent.”
The lawsuit against the man was launched about two weeks before he was granted the conditional licence.
The man’s lawyer told NY Cannabis Insider that the man denies all allegations and that the Post story was factually incorrect. He added they are “trying to resolve the suit amicably.”
