Ohio is increasing the amount of recreational marijuana that retailers can sell per consumer.
Beginning June 4, adult-use retailers will be able to sell up to 2.5 ounces of flower per day, according to a notice from the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control (DCC).

The per-day limit for flower currently is 1 ounce.
The DCC said it is increasing the limit after determining the Ohio market can support both medical marijuana patients and non-medical consumers.
“At this time, when calculating 2.5 ounces of plant material, the only approved form that may be applied to the 2.5 ounces of cannabis plant material is dried cannabis plant material for vaporization,” according to the DCC notice.
