Police execute cannabis raid at 4:20 a.m.

A U.K. cannabis grow operating on a residential street came to an unceremonious end after police busted the operation at 4:20 a.m. earlier this week.

Police raided the grow after receiving a tip from the public and found growing equipment and 66 plants spread across three rooms of the otherwise unoccupied home.

As for the daring escape, it didn’t work out as planned.

A 24-year-old man was arrested shortly after his jump and later sentenced to six months in jail for producing Class B drugs and causing criminal damage.

In 2019, it was a police dog who tied a bust to the iconic stoner number, after it sniffed out exactly 420 pounds (190.5 kilograms) of cannabis being transported in a U-Haul trailer.
