Police throw shade on criminals who lose almost $160,000 worth of weed

The Bury South division of the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) couldn’t help but gloat after finding $158,000 worth of illegal cannabis during a raid last week.

“Somebody is going to be a bit upset …” GMP noted in a cheeky tweet complete with a photo of the cannabis on a living room floor that had been recovered and, as such, was lost to whoever “owned” it.

The tweet then twisted the knife a little more by pointing out how everything was packaged and ready to go for the cops to pick up. “A warrant was executed this morning where approximately £100,000 ($158,000) worth of cannabis, vacuum packed & ready to go was discovered,” the post adds.

And just in case any other area residents were suspicious about their neighbours’ activities, the tweet encourages them to report anonymously.
