Steven Spielberg still enjoys a stoner flick, even though “The King of Entertainment” has never inhaled.
The casting was reportedly panic-inducing for Rogen, not for any nerves related to acting in a Spielberg film, but because the iconic film director asked him to shave his head for the role.
Rogen told Jimmy Fallon that he was initially nervous when Spielberg called him.
“I knew no matter what the role was, I had to take it. Even if it was a terrible one,” Rogen said.
After gaining some further clarity, Rogen accepted. It wasn’t until a few days before shooting began that Spielberg asked him to cut back his hairline so “it looks like you’re going much more bald than you are.”
