Stunt driving leads to drug charges for 27-year-old

A 27-year-old driver from Mississauga faces numerous criminal and Highway Traffic Act charges after taking to the roads in Norfolk County.

Initially pulled over for stunt driving, police recovered cocaine, cannabis and cash from inside the vehicle, reports CTV.

Unfortunately, the driver is far from the first to think high speeds and drugs are a good combination.

In May, a 51-year-old man from Richmond Hill, Ont. passed officers who were responding to a fatal collision at 195 km/h, more than double the speed limit. To make matters worse, the man passed the officers in a construction zone, with workers present, and had open liquor and cannabis in the car.
