Supermodel-backed cannabis wellness firm raises $4.5 million in 12 hours

James Bagley, half of the husband-and-wife team behind luxury CBD brand OTO, is reportedly taken aback by the response to a recent crowdfunding venture that managed to raise £2.65 million ($4.5 million) in 12 hours.

The brand — which reportedly supplies its CBD spa treatments, massage oils, sleep aids and skincare treatments to some luxury stores and hotels — is said to be backed by, among others, supermodels Adwoa Aboah and Jodie Kidd, according to the Evening Standard.

“We are blown away by the successes of the crowdfunding campaign so far, and delighted that people are willing to invest in our meaningful products,” James Bagley, who co-founded OTO with Gemma Colao.
