Concluded with the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe, the pattern repeated itself from Wyoming to Southern California: the Yavapai slaughter, the Sand Creek Massacre, the Mendocino War, the Yuki genocide, the Snake River War, the Colorado War, and so on.
