Born and raised in Scotland, Advent Wood Products founder Barry Thomson is an avid skier who eventually fell for and settled in B.C. When he’s off the slopes, he hand crafts solid wood into intricate items like The Family Welcome Sign, out of his workshop in Monashees, using locally sourced timber. Each farmhouse-style sign can be made in knotty pine, maple or North American ash and customized in one of eight sizes with your preferred colours, text and images.
