It’s been a busy few weeks for 2004 National Basketball Association (NBA) champion Ben Wallace.
Last month, the four-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award winner was elected to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, becoming the first undrafted player in the modern era to receive that honour.
A few weeks after that, it was announced that Wallace would be rejoining the Detroit Pistons, his former team, in a front-office capacity. Basketball is not the only thing Wallace will be focusing on while working in the state of Michigan, however.
He’s also signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Jackson-based cannabis producer Rair. Under the terms of the agreement, Wallace will develop his own brand of cannabis products, including a signature strain, that will be launched in early 2022.
