A 36-year-old Toronto man is facing numerous charges after being caught with cash tied to the sales of cannabis and 39 grams of bud, reports CTV.
Officers allegedly observed the driver making several stops in the area before pulling the vehicle over.
Once stopped, officers seized nearly $10,000 worth of illicit cannabis products, ranging from flower and vape pens to edibles and hash, from inside the car. They also confiscated $530 in cash, a collapsible baton and a cellphone.
A 42-year-old man was charged with possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and possession of a prohibited weapon.
It’s far from the first time that Southern Ontario residents have been busted for cannabis crimes up North.
