Parents trying to suss out whether or not their children are buying drugs now have access to a social media-friendly cheat sheet to help guide them through the decoding process.

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) recently released its updated tips on the subject. Called Emoji Drug Code: Decoded, the reference guide “is intended to give parents, caregivers, educators and other influencers a better sense of how emojis are being used in conjunction with illegal drugs.”
The DEA points out that “fake prescription pills,” which the guide maintains are “commonly laced with deadly fentanyl and methamphetamine,” are oftentimes sold on social media and e-commerce platforms.
