Three U.K. teens learned the hard way that not everything should be kept on their phones when reported snaps of them holding machetes, knives and a gun caught the attention of police who found an illegal grow while investigating.

The teens got onto police radar after intelligence was received about photos of the three teens posing with the weapons, reports the West Midlands Police (WMP). Beyond the photos on a 15-year-old boy’s phone of the three holding the weapons, they reportedly were also “making threats to steal a car.”
