The White House Office of Management and Budget is urging Congress to “update the statutory definition of final hemp-derived cannabinoid products to allow Americans to benefit from access to appropriate full-spectrum CBD products” while restricting “products that pose serious health risks.”

The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies approved a funding bill blocking federal workers’ compensation programs from covering medical cannabis—”regardless of any change in the scheduling of marijuana.”
