Woman arrested after attempting to enter a prison with cannabis hidden in her baby’s clothes

A 27-year-old woman has been arrested in Argentina after she attempted to enter a prison with cannabis hidden inside her baby’s clothes.

Wrapped in individual packages, the cannabis was hidden in the vest the baby was wearing, reports Zyri.

“I leave you the crazy noodles that you like … enjoy them, love. I love you,” a note left with the noodles reportedly reads.

Officers with the jail then noticed that the bag of noodles had been opened and closed and found the cannabis upon closer inspection. The woman was later arrested.

Cannabis in Argentina is decriminalized for personal use in small amounts and for consumption in private locations but cultivating, selling and transporting large amounts remains illegal.

Closer to home, correctional staff at Millhaven Institution just east of Bath, Ont., seized tobacco, hash, cannabis concentrates and methamphetamine earlier this month.
