Ziggy Marley has some questions for the government of Singapore.
“It’s illegal in that country, I get it, but to kill a person for that should also be #ILLEGAL on the planet #EARTH,” Marley continued, adding that companies and individuals working in legal cannabis should follow his lead in calling out the sentence.
“All companies and individuals who are profiting from the cultivation and commercialization of cannabis, if you have a conscience, speak out about this injustice and call out Singapore for this despicable act of taking a human life for possessing the plant,” he wrote, tagging cannabis brand Marley Natural, as well as Willie’s Reserve, a cannabis company founded by Willie Nelson in 2015.
