The two men, aged 22 and 24, are residents of New York. They were released on an undertaking, a type of release that is received when a judge approves bail, and are scheduled to appear in court next month in Cornwall.
In February, a report from the CBSA detailed that cannabis product seizures had increased dramatically over the first two quarters of fiscal 2021-2022.
More than 10 million grams of cannabis products were confiscated over that period, compared to 6.7 million grams in the first two quarters of the previous fiscal year.
Along with the cannabis, seizures of fentanyl and other opioids have increased, while seizures of cocaine and heroin have decreased.
